Welcome to Stonewall Sports Cleveland Dodgeball!
This season of dodgeball will utilize the REMIX format. REMIX encourages players to talk to different teams and players and build a more profound sense of community within Stonewall Sports Cleveland. REMIX assigns ALL players to teams at random (through a draw). A player may register with one additional player as a free agent pair.
We will have two divisions: competitive and social. Participants will self-select their skill and intensity level during registration and teams will be determined by the number of registered players per division.
COVID-19 Policy
The National Board of Stonewall Sports has established a new COVID policy that Stonewall Sports Cleveland and all affiliated city chapters will be enacting to maximize our ability to provide an environment that maintains the health and safety of our players.
Going forward, in order to participate in any future sport offering or social event offered through Stonewall Sports- all registered individuals will be required to provide proof they have been vaccinated against COVID-19 or a negative COVID test. There will be three accepted methods for relaying this information to the organization:
(1) Players can choose to upload proof of vaccination using a Google Form
(2) Players can choose to show proof of vaccination to a designated member of the board
(3) Players can choose to present a negative COVID test prior taken within 72 hours of any scheduled game or event they plan to participate.
Failure to fulfill any of these requirements will result in a player being ineligible to participate in any sport or event. If this occurs, that player will have their eligibility re-established once one of the three requirements is appropriately met.
More detailed Instructions- including access to the Google Drive, information on the designated board members, and when to supply the required information will be made available to members in the near future. Until then, we ask that you hold off on sending any information to us at this time.

What is REMIX?
We are shaking things up for the Fall 2022 season! Rather than sign up with specific teams, each player will register as a free agent and be placed on a random team.
Why REMIX?
Stonewall Sports Cleveland is focused on fostering a welcoming, inclusive community where all members feel safe to be themselves, make new friends, and have fun. As we enter 2022, REMIX will give returning players the opportunity to break out from their corners of the league, take a break from established teams, and meet some new teammates!
How does REMIX work?
All players will register as free agents. Participants have the option to be paired with one other registered participant. During the registration process, participants will be asked to self-rank their skill level. Teams will be generated to establish social and competitive divisions using these rankings. Teams will only play other teams in their division.
How will captains be selected for REMIX?
We will be asking for volunteers who are interested in co-captaining a REMIX team. The dodgeball commissioners (Mary Leach and Justin Rector) will be selecting captains based on their experience with dodgeball and their demonstrated ability to build and support inclusive, well-connected teams. Please indicate during the registration process if you are interested in serving as a Team Captain. Some things to consider if interested in captaining a team:
Stonewall Experience - Must have played at least one season of Stonewall Dodgeball.
Stonewall Involvement - Volunteering/past leadership, may be considered.
Stonewall Sportsmanship - Captains must have a track record of positive sportsmanship within the league.
